I beat around the bush only when I want to screw with people. Bluntness is epic. Anyway, I find that sometimes you have to reinforce somone's self-esteem by complimenting them, etc. But a lot of times, that person is just prentending to be depressed for attention. Also, I'm a cynical asshole, as I have been told. So I don't give out compliments much, unles people really deserve them.
