Waste Talent by SparkLum Waste Talent by SparkLum
I dedicate this stamp to someone I know, who has so much talent, much more than I do, to be sure.
Yet, lets it go to waste.

wtf?

You know what I would do if I had that much talent? Make moar deviations, that's what.

Totally agree. I hate it when there are artists who look talented, but waste by causing a lot of drama.

I disagree like the last person. It's possible to have talent to an extreme degree, but have no interest in the thing you're good at.

Other than that, I agree with you. If you don't hate it, you should do it.

Iiiiiiiii disagree. Someone should do what makes them happy, not what others think they should do. : )

I disagree. Nothing makes you more unhappy than a "what if"

I disagree with your disagree. If there is no 'what if' because you are content with your life then you have nothing to be unhappy about.

Sometimes the talent is there, but the passion and drive is not. Why spend your life doing something you're not passionate about?

well.. i get what your saying here, and i compleatly agree. but you need to keep in mind, that a lot of the people with lots of tallent do have a job in real life, and that job is usally something to do with art. so they dont necasarly wasting their tallent. theymight not have the time to post on da you know.

I gotta say I do the same thing, but not with drawing, with singing... >.< I mean everyone says I'm good and all but... I don't sing for my shyness. :(

I agree, but I mean, I just don't think I'm that good. Either it's blindness, false humility, or I just don't see that I'm very skilled in anything.

I want so much to be able to, yes. But one time, 2 years ago about, I auditioned for the school talent show... gawd that was a mess!!! D= Worst feeling I ever had... I mean, my voice was disgusting from my nervousness... and I suddenly started to shake uncontrolably and sweat and felt like the song lasted forever... even that I was gonna burst into tears, and it was only 3 teachers there! D= One of the judges even stopped me half way, saying that I wouldn't make it because of my nervousness... I cryed later on.............
Worst day of my LIFE. :tears:

*sigh* It's alright.

True but...... I'm still just as shy, and probably don't have any more talent then I did back then, mostly because I don't have anywhere to practice my voice.... my brother-with-no-life and his girlfriend are ALWAYS here, and my father is off work forever now, and my mother... well she doesn't matter as much. And school, ugh, never a place to go. D=

It takes time, and at least you have talent - maybe go to karaoke with friends? The only way we change these habits is if we go and do that thing (i.e. sing) and we have the experience that it turns out OK. It will - keep trying and you eventually don't fuss over it. A talent contest is quite a huge stretch for someone not used to singing in public - good on you for trying! :omfg:

(excuse me for jumping in like this)

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of kareoke, it's just... the songs... they're not me. I have trouble singing songs when they're not my style and only I can create ones my style really, and if I do sing them, it's usually acapella or with the complete song itself. :)
Oh and thanks. ^^ Actually, our school talent shows, unlike others, aren't contests, jsut... for fun. :)

Hahaha it's perfectly alright. ;)

On one hand I agree with this, on the other just because a person has talent in something doesn't mean they enjoy it..

That's true, I can write programs and stuff but I don't really like it too much.
Still, the person I am referring to, I *know* they like what they can do.

True, I guess the problem is what they're doing instead. Obviously they're not getting a lot out of it if they're 'wasting' their talents, or maybe they don't have the time anymore. I can't speak for your friend though, so
